MATCH BRIEF
  • Match duration: roughly 24-40 hours covering 35-40km of extremely rough hilly terrain and includes deep water river crossings
  • Navigation and route selection to mandatory and bonus waypoints all done by map and compass
  • 2-man teams 
  • 2 divisions Precision Rifle/ Self loading carbine and Precision Rifle/Precision rifle
  • Waypoints include challenges set for, precision rifle shooting, assault stages, reconnaissance challenges, marine field shooting, river crossings
  • Approximate maximum target distances: rifle 1200 metres; carbine 400; pistol 100
  • Unknown, various, and non-standard target sizes
  • Non shooting challenges at various waypoints may include lock picking, escape and evasion, radio communications and signalling, problem solving, physical field tasks, basic climbing, surveillance, etc
  • "Approximate Minimum Round Count": Long-range rifle 80; carbine 120; pistol 80 each.

Inspections will be conducted randomly throughout the race to ensure compliance. You are permitted to bring any supplementary items not explicitly forbidden by the regulations.
